Offshore Royalties Bill Coverage
On Wednesday, Dec. 20, President Bush signed legislation to give Louisiana a permanent share of offshore oil and gas royalty payments, to be dedicated to coastal restoration, flood control and storm protection. On behalf of Coastal Louisiana, Women of the Storm express our appreciation to the state’s Congressional delegation, other members of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate, and all of you who have supported the efforts.
