Women of the Storm Welcomes Congressional Hearings to New Orleans
We are delighted to report that the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Housing and Community Opportunity, headed by Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and the Senate Environment and Public Works committee, chaired by Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA), held field hearings in New Orleans, Feb. 22 and 26 respectively. But 10 of 16 House Committee chairs have yet to visit - please encourage them to do so!
